Said Derek Tan, co-founder of Viddsee: "We are excited to extend our partnership with Vidio in promoting Juree, which over the years has been a great way to discover new local stories and talented filmmakers across the country. Vidio’s involvement this year further extends the reach of the awards to millions, and we hope their audiences will be as entertained and impressed as we are with this year’s entries.”
Said Eva Stephanie Kurnia, VP of Content, Vidio: “Indonesia has a proud and rich tradition of storytelling, and filmmakers are an important part of carrying on that tradition in the digital age. Promoting the Viddsee Juree Awards is our way of supporting local filmmakers, ensuring that their craft, ingenuity, and love for films continues on. We hope that through our platform, we’re able to help propel the winners and finalists to achieve bigger and better things in the future.”

Two top entries will be named Gold and Silver winners, who will be picked by an international panel of judges that comprises Filipina producer Armi Rae Cacanindin, whose short film ‘Employee of the Month’ premiered at Cannes Critics’ Week; festival programmer, film writer, and producer Paolo Bertolin, whose resume include international festivals and institutions such as IFFRotterdam, the Doha Film Institute, Mumbai, Beijing, and Torino Film Festivals; and Indonesian filmmaker Yosep Anggi Noen, whose film ‘Peculiar Vacation and Other Illnesses’ was nominated for the Golden Leopard at the Locarno International Film Festival.
